WORLD: Nice But Useless (NSFW)
Updated: 09/03 10:25
There are no poor excuses for beautiful women to freely choose to display her naked or nearly naked body; doing so is good for the onlooking men’s cardiovascular health and intrinsically beautifies the environment of wherever the women happens to be.
If, however, the woman is stripping down for a cause of some sort it would be better if there was some context provided. Otherwise it’s nice – very, very nice in this particular case – but largely useless.
I found this lovely and provocative image via Google’s Image Search while looking for something else. It intrigued me so I went hunting for what this was all about and found nothing.
She looks Arab, so might be protesting the misogynist Muslim tradition of forcing women to wear the burqa or naqib. Yet the setting and bystanders look European, so she might be protesting any one of the recent bans enacted by European government upon wearing the burqa or naqib.
If anyone has a link to an explanation for this protest please post it in the comments. I’m honestly interested. It’s very rare for me to utterly fail when researching a topic online.
As it stands now, her efforts were nice but seemingly useless. Fortunately “nice” has intrinsic value and appeal. :)

WORLD: It Hated Babies
Updated: 09/02 10:54A rabid eco-terrorist and devotee of Daniel Quinn’s anti-humanist and anti-civilization doctrine, James Lee, has attacked the Discovery Channel headquarters in downtown Silver Spring, MD and taken an unknown number of people hostage.
It is armed with at least one pistol and appears to be strapped with explosives (eco-jihadi?).
The crazed Leftist eco-freak did all this because years of its protesting Discovery have born it no fruit. Discovery just wouldn’t kowtow to the filthy little monkey’s ludicrous demands and, like all of its breed, repeated failure eventually caused it to decompensate and revert to its more natural behavior pattern.
It’s biggest problem with the Discovery Channel seems to be that it believes that a lot of the network’s programing fails to discourage human procreation. You see, it hates babies.
All programs on Discovery Health-TLC must stop encouraging the birth of any more parasitic human infants and the false heroics behind those actions. In those programs’ places, programs encouraging human sterilization and infertility must be pushed. All former pro-birth programs must now push in the direction of stopping human birth, not encouraging it.
Find solutions for Global Warming, Automotive pollution, International Trade, factory pollution, and the whole blasted human economy. Find ways so that people don’t build more housing pollution which destroys the environment to make way for more human filth! Find solutions so that people stop breeding as well as stopping using Oil in order to REVERSE Global warming and the destruction of the planet!
Saving the Planet means saving what’s left of the non-human Wildlife by decreasing the Human population. That means stopping the human race from breeding any more disgusting human babies! You’re the media, you can reach enough people. It’s your responsibility because you reach so many minds!!!
The above are just a sampling of the creature’s screed but the rest mostly devolve to the same Ishmaelite point; a majority of humanity should perish and the best way of doing that is to eliminate procreation. It and they hate human babies with a quasi-religious passion.
It Ends Happily
Fortunately this horrific episode has ended happily for America and humanity in general. The Montgomery County SWAT Team’s snipers exterminated this piece of filth before it could do any further harm.

WORLD: Obama HESC Plan Balked
Updated: 08/25 10:24On Monday, August 23, 2010 a US federal judge blocked the Obama administration from funding human embryonic stem cell research via the National Institutes of Health (NHS). The court ruled that the President Obama’s planned financial support Human Embryonic Stem Cell (HESC) research violates an existing federal law barring the use of taxpayer money for experiments that destroy human embryos.
So much for President Obama March 9, 2009 Executive Order 13505, with which he supposedly tried to fund the practice with taxpayer money.
From the Washington Post:
U.S. District Judge Royce C. Lamberth issued a preliminary injunction that prohibits the National Institutes of Health from funding the research under the administration’s new guidelines, citing an appeals court’s ruling that the researchers who had challenged the less-restrictive policy have the legal standing to pursue their lawsuit.
The decision, a setback for one of the administration’s most high-profile scientific policies, was praised by opponents of the research.
The preliminary injunction will, if some vestige of the laws of America still exist, be followed with a final ruling that permanently blocks Obama’s directive. This is not because HESC research is wrong but because a President’s Executive Orders do not overrule the laws as created by the Congress and, therefor he cannot approve such funding when a law explicitly prohibits it.
That is a much more important point than whether or not Human Embryonic Stem Cell Research gets federal funding – unless one suddenly likes the idea of the “Imperial Presidency.”

WORLD: It's Not My Fault
Updated: 08/22 14:29
Americans have had to hear a monotonous litany of “Blamestorming” spouting from the jabbering maw of President Obama for month after month, after month now. “Hope & Change” predictably devolved into “It’s Not My Fault” the moment things got difficult, which was on January 21, 2009, the day after his Inauguration.
The constant repetitions and variations on a theme of “It’s Bush’s fault” reached the point of absurdity long ago, and yet Obama, stereotypically unwilling to accept any responsibility for the circumstances he finds himself in, just keeps spewing forth the same tired screeds.
Apparently though Obama is no longer satisfied with the response he’s been getting to, “Blame Bush.” On his way out the door to yet another taxpayer funded vacation – his 9th since taking office – President Obama stopped to talk to his pet media representatives so that he could blame Congress for dismal state of the American employment market in the wake of Obama’s “Planned Economy.”
As the LA Times reported on Friday, Aug 20, 2010:
No questions allowed because the president didn’t want to explain why despite the administration’s announced Recovery Summer Program, the jobs numbers have started going backward again after 19 months of promises and $787 billion in alleged stimulation spending. Because, faced with the uncertainty of the economy and the certainty of new taxes after Nov. 2, employers are holding back on hiring.
According to the president, he’s been “adamant” with Congress for months now about a new jobs bill to help small businesses. Obama says this really good bill is stalled in the Senate, where so much administration legislation has been crammed through so effectively by Majority Leader Harry Reid.
It’s Bush’s fault; it’s Congress’ fault; it’s the GOP’s fault; it’s the American people’s fault; it’s anyone and everyone except for Obama’s fault, or so the Canon of Obama clearly states.
~*~
Obama, jabbering fool that he is, is lucky that Americans aren’t the evil bigots that he and the Liberals keep claiming that they are. If they were, he and his attacks wouldn’t enjoy the tolerance that has been shown so far. Instead, they would have been derided as nothing but another example of a Black blaming the White man for his own failings rather than Obama being man and accepting some level of personal responsibility.
Yes, if Americans were vile as Liberals are, there would be endless complaints being aired about Obama’s incessant “dog whistles” since blaming Bush, and Old White Guy and now Congress, famous for being a group of Old White Guys, fit the stereotype of the shiftless Black who refuses all responsibility for himself or his perennial failures perfectly.
Yeah, Obama is damn lucky that Americans, hard-working Americans, White Americans, who have been derided by him for clinging to their Gods and their guns, aren’t the racist pukes that he and his Liberals followers keep yammering that they are.

WORLD: Arab-Israeli Agreement
Updated: 08/21 17:26Many US Presidents have been drawn into the struggle of trying to work a solution to the Arab-Israeli problem. Until now all of them have failed to get the Palestinian Arabs and the Israelis to come to an agreement on anything other than that they don’t like each other.
Obama Finally Reaches Arab-Israeli Agreement
President Obama, the Conciliator-in-Chief, has finally done what no other POTUS has been able to do; he got the Arabs and Israelis to agree on something.

WORLD: No Cordoba House!
Updated: 08/18 10:27
There will be no vile “Cordoba House” built overlooking Ground Zero, nor will there be a Muslim Cultural Center being opened at Ground Zero on 9/11, and there may not be a masjid built there overlooking and commemorating the Islamic terror attack upon the World Trade Center.
Some things have changed and these particular atrocities are not going to happen – at least not exactly as originally planned.
Some things have changed, arguments and responses have shifted, and some things never actually were in the first place it seems.
No Cordoba House
The Muslim’s building will no longer be named Cordoba House, which every Islamist in the world recognize as a symbol of Islamic conquest. It will be called The Community Center At Park 51 or just Park 51.
We are calling it Park 51 because of the backlash to the name Cordoba House. It will be a place open to all New Yorkers and that is a very New York name.
– Sharif Gamal
Developer for Park 51
Changing the name of the Islamic Center from Cordoba House to something far less insulting and inflammatory is a big step in the right direction. It will not so easily embolden the jihadis and will not be such a constant left-handed slap in the face to Americans.
No 9/11 Attack Anniversary
Park 51 will also not be opening on September 11, 2011. It will them 18 months to three years to come up with the $100-$150 million price tag for the facility assuming no further delays or hurdles. It’s conceivable that it might open on some future 9/11, but I’m finding that more and more unlikely as things shift and Americans make their voices heard.
The whole idea that this center would open on 9/11/11 seems to have been predicated upon a misunderstanding of something said back in early May by Daisy Khan, the executive director of the American Society for Muslim Advancement and a board member of the Cordoba Initiative, the two organizations sponsoring the Islamic project.
The Muslim organizations plan to announce the groundbreaking later this year, possibly to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the attacks, Khan said. It could take up to three years to build the Cordoba House; the groups currently have no funds for the project but plan to start raising money, she said.
A groundbreaking ceremony on 9/11 would be an insult to Americans but not nearly so much of one as an opening ceremony. It was also only a possibility, one likely to be discounted now from the sound of things.
Funny how Liberals are now claiming that Newscorp lied about it opening on 9/11/11 when all their Leftist MSM outlets agreed that such was the planned opening date as well and defended it.
Are they implying that the NY Times, ABC, CBS, CNN and a host of other left-wing, Liberal propaganda outlets get their facts from Fox News and the New York Post as well?
Any or all of those media outlets could have “refudiated” it. ![]()
Not doing anything involving Park 51, whether breaking ground or opening its doors on the anniversary of the jihadis’ terrorist attack on NYC would definitely be the best bet for all concerned.
A Mosque or Not?
The matter of whether or not Park 51 will contain a masjid – what most would call a mosque – is somewhat more clouded and “nuanced.” The Park 51 website claims that the Muslim Center will contain a masjid but Daisy Khan demurred on August 13, 2010.
The top two floors would house a domed space for prayers. “We insist on calling it a prayer space and not a mosque, because you can use a prayer space for activities apart from prayer. You can’t stop anyone who is a Muslim despite his religious ideology from entering the mosque and staying there,” said Imam Rauf’s wife and partner, Daisy Khan, who runs the American Society for Muslim Advancement, from an office housed on the Upper West Side’s famed Riverside Church. “With a prayer space, we can control who gets to use it.”
It’s really anyone’s guess at this point whether or not Park 51 will house a masjid or just unconsecrated prayer space, but it seems that Imam Feisal Abdul-Rauf has recognized his error in judgment and opted for the latter, less offensive and less dangerous option.
~*~
My take on these developments in the Ground Zero Mosque / Cordoba House row is quite simple. Since my complaints were based upon the combination of name, place, and timing, I no longer have any particular cause for grievance or reason to take issue with Sharif Gamal’s and Imam Feisal Abdul-Rauf’s plans to build a Muslim community center in lower Manhattan – even if it is quite near Ground Zero. Without being name Cordoba and being opened on an anniversary of the 9/11 attack it’s just another building without particular symbolism.
Do I like it? No! I strongly dislike the ever-growing number of Muslims choosing to congregate at and around Ground Zero since it strikes me as too reminiscent of a dark hajj.
I do, however, actually approve of and like Gamal’s, Imam Feisal’s and Daisy Khan’s responses to Americans’ complaints. They, unlike either Bloomberg or Obama, chose an actually moderate and unifying – or at least not further divisive – path to resolution of the problem instead of fanning the flames.
~*~
And a H/T to Moe, who provided me the impetus to sift through several months of reports in order to get a straight story about the center’s intended opening date.

WORLD: Enforcing The Law
Updated: 08/17 10:33
The bulk of the Liberals love the fact that President Obama has sued Arizona over SB 1070. This is for a variety of reasons, all of which mark them as enemies of America.
I’ll say this for them though – they’re consistent in their faith, however vile and anti-American that it might be.

You Can’t Have People Enforcing Federal Law
Fortunately for them their President isn’t near so consistent when it comes to upholding his Oath of Office and executing sworn duties. He’s proven more than eager to wage a paper jihad against Arizona’s attempt to defend the safety of American women and children by enforcing the federal immigration laws – laws the Obama Regime has refused to enforce – but has been utterly sanguine about- and supportive of California actively flouting and contravening federal drug laws.
Of course Obama swore his Oath of Office upon a copy of the Christians’ Bible and I sincerely doubt that he considers such to be binding upon him; his theology seems to lay elsewhere. ![]()
But Obama does possess a deeper level of consistency that is shown by his actions and the people he has surrounded himself with, and this consistence of agenda sits well with- and lends material aid and comfort to his followers and constituency.
The Obama Regime’s and his followers’ newfound love of inconsistent enforcement of America’s laws when it suits them is a dangerous course of action for them. The idea that “bad laws” just shouldn’t be enforced is based upon subjective values and such a mindset stands a good chance of running afoul of the Law of Unintended Consequences.

WORLD: Profiling Is Offensive?
Updated: 08/10 10:39
Critics of Arizona’s attempt to defend its borders against the filthy criminal invaders that are overrunning the state, and who have becoming increasingly dangerous has drawn a lot of anger from the Liberals.
The Liberals and their minority tenants find anything that might resemble racial profiling to be extremely offensive. Hellfire! Most people find racial profiling to be offensive and find only a few, limited circumstances in which it is even somewhat useful.

For Liberals Racial Profiling Is Sometimes Offensive
The underlying bone of contention – the argument over SB 1070 being only a symptom of a larger problem – is mostly over the differences between what Americans and Liberals respectively believe those few, limited circumstances in which racial profiling is somewhat useful actually are.

WORLD: Turnabout Is Fair Play
Updated: 07/23 10:45
Recently the NAACP passed a resolution condemning Tea Party activism by equating it with racism, a false but all to common attack form from the Leftists and their minority tenants like the increasingly irrelevant NAACP.
One blogger, Andrew Breitbart, responded to this attack upon Americans by posting a video of the USDA’s Georgia State Director for the USDA Rural Development, Shirley Sherrod, recounting her racist attack upon a White farmer to a NAACP gathering and the applause and approval the tale got from the Blacks there.
Andrew Breitbart’s Video of Shirley Sherrod Recounting Her Racism
President Obama’s administration responded by having their Agriculture Secretary, Tom Vilsack force her to resign. The NAACP responded by issuing a statement saying that they condemn behavior such as that shown by the now unemployed Shirley Sherrod. This was all done openly and within a matter of hours in order to minimize the damage that such statements as Sherrod’s could do to the Obama Regime and the NAACP.
One problem – the video, while not fake, was so heavily edited that it largely misportrayed Shirley Sherrod statements. She was, in point of fact, recounting her past racist behavior and how she overcame those prejudices and her bigotry.
Watching this debacle unfold reminded me of an old adage, “Turnabout is fair play.”
President Obama, the USDA and Agricultural Secretary Tom Vilsack, the NAACP, and – very sadly – Mrs. Sherrod were faced with the exact same sort of attack that Whites and organizations perceived as being White-dominated have been faced with on a nearly daily basis for years – and they responded to the attack in exactly the same manner as America’s society, rife with political correctness and ethno-guiltism, has demanded that Whites do.
All that happened was that the roles of race-baiting grievance-monger and reactionary victim trying to minimize the damage were reversed and I, for one, am smiling at the reversal of positions but the consistency – dare I say equality? – of the responses.
Yet, all schadenfreude aside, I’m not unaware or unmindful of another old adage, “Two wrongs don’t make a right.”
Mendacity and race-baiting of this sort is vile and pernicious irregardless of the respective ethnicities of the attacker and victim. Mr. Breitbart certainly shouldn’t be lauded for his actions any more than Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson should ever be lauded for theirs.
Cowardice, cynicism, and lack of judgment are also severe ethical failings irrespective of the race of those who exhibit them. President Obama, the USDA, and the NAACP should certainly be taken to task for the nature of their response to Breitbart’s attack just as too many other people and groups to name should be for responding to race-baiting attacks in the same general manner.
Perhaps though, this old adage might be wrong in this case; perhaps these wrongs can make a right. Now that America has a this very public role reversal in the racialist attacks it might just be the case that, in the wake of the damage done to both President Obama and the NAACP, that there will be a reduction in the race-baiting rhetoric and attacks that have become so ubiquitous since Obama’s election.
I’m neither ignorant of history nor insane, so I don’t hold much hope of this. I do, however, hold a little bit of it though; having your favorite weapon used upon you is often quite educational – a teaching moment, if you will.
